# 1940 Canandaigua and Midlakes Win Canandaigua remains undefeated and made it clear that they are able to beat Orchard Park (of Buffalo), who has, for the 13 years has represented Section Six in the NYS tournaments. Canandaigua played three strong quarters and held off a late Quaker offensive to defeat Orchard Park 11-9. In the other Friday afternoon game, Midlakes broke a five game losing streak to beat Pal-Mac 6-2 in Finger Lakes-2 action. |
# 1935 Pittsford Day A full day of lacrosse games took place in Pittsford today, capped off with a last minute win by the Panthers over Gates Chili 11-10. Hilton was a 15-3 winner over Spencerport, Livonia won their game (16-11) over Midlakes, and Pal-Mac was the 12-11 winner over Batavia. Out of area games included JD's win over Geneva (18-7) and Sweet Home over Victor (14-6). |
